Flowers - Twins

The word 'Twins' implies 'identical'. While looking at the image, the viewer subconsciously compares the two elements within the image to determine the validity of the claim. However, in Twins it is difficult to validate the claim because the two elements are shown at different views. The act of trying to validate the claim provokes tension in the viewer long enough to consider what the word 'identical' really means. Can anything ever be identical? Is there such thing as a twin?

As it turns out, the elements within the image Twins are identical although not through comparison but by the fact that they are the same image shown from two different sides. The viewer may realize this, and if so, then realizes that the image Twins is actually a lie.

Water creates an imperfect reflection, 'asymmetric' if you will. Somewhat like life - beautiful but imperfect.

Flowers - Predator & Prey

These images were captured after midnight. Approaching the scene quietly is critical otherwise the predator & prey are frightened away. There is still much unknown about the 'after dark' activities among these floral species although it appears disturbing to say the least. Further investigation will be required.
